There are many ways to connect with KCS through volunteerism! People can connect through our mentoring program (Friends Helping Friends), 2nd Street Commons, Pathfinder Tiny House Village, KCS nonprofit operation and administration, or KCS fund-raising activities. KCS can also help people get connected as volunteers with our many different community partner organizations. We want to help you, as a volunteer, to get connected with just the right opportunity for you.
There are many ways in which you can become involved. First and foremost, we desire and need people. It's as simple as that. Not only do we need people to come and volunteer their time to accomplish what we need done, we also need people to partner with us and bring their own unique experiences and creativity so that we can make Kaleidoscope the best it can possibly be. If this sounds like something you might be interested, please contact us and we can point you in the right direction!
KCS is a 501 C3 nonprofit and operates entirely on the generosity of private donors and grants from organizations that allow us to operate as a Christ-centered, faith-based nonprofit. We are a fiscally transparent organization, and our books are open to anyone who is interested in how we utilize our resources. KCS desires to honor God in all we do- including how we use our resources. We have a professional bookkeeper, a well-known CPA who does our yearly taxes (and who advises KCS), and we have a board of directors who regularly examine all of our activities.
