Friends Helping Friends is a ‘Life Empowerment’ program designed for any person who would be helped by being part of a community of persons pursuing physical, spiritual, and emotional health. The Friends Helping Friends program consists of peer support, accountability partnerships, life-skill workshops, networking and resourcing, talking circles, life planning and goal setting, service to others, and spiritual discipleship. Friends Helping Friends is for anyone who is desiring spiritual and/or physical healing, encouragement, close friendships, living in community with others, a place to serve and help others, assistance in moving forward in life in a positive direction, a deeper relationship with God, freedom from mistakes from the past, and a wraparound team of loving persons to cheer them on.
